Training a follower of Christ to be a complete disciple involves the transformation of that person into the image of Christ. This is only possible when Christ¡¯s disciples share in Christ¡¯s life. To be sure, knowledge is an important foundation of discipleship training. Yet at the same time, to fully disciple a person, life-based training must take place in parallel with knowledge as well.

The Secret of Living and Loving strikes a balanced approach to these two aspects of discipleship training. This study seeks not merely to convey knowledge, but rather have as its goal the full transformation of the person.

While clearly presenting both knowledge of and the way to salvation, this book also presents fundamental principles for living after being saved, and how to share that life with others.
