Pastor Sang-Chul Lee was born into a family of unbelievers. When he was 12 years old, he went to a church for the first time and experienced the Holy Spirit. Then, he received a calling to become a servant of God. After that moment, his only dream and calling was to plant a church. From a very humble family, Rev. Lee studied theology by paying his own way, and he motivated himself through the arduous process with prayer and concentration on the word of God.
Because his congregation was very weak to support him financially, the pioneering church had started in debt; However, Rev. Lee only had to pray to God to overcome the countless trials. Ten years later, The Lord's hands had led Sang-rok-su Myung-ryun Church into an amazing Church. Pastor Sang-Chul Lee affirmed that he had only ministered according to the teaching of the Holy Spirit, and from then on, he led his pioneering basement church to a great revival. In addition, Lee received public attention for being such a successful preacher and an effective pastoral leader of the next generation.
